Speakers

Morning Keynote

Jerry Reed, PhD, MSW, has served as the Director of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center in Washington D.C. since 2008. Through this work he provides assistance to many key stakeholders in developing, implementing and evaluating programs and strategies to prevent suicide. Dr. Reed also serves as the Director of the Center for the Study and Prevention of Injury, Violence and Suicide and Co-Director of the Injury Control Research Center for Suicide Prevention with partners at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Reed speaks nationally and internationally on the topic of suicide prevention. Dr. Reed received his Ph.D. in Health Related Sciences with an emphasis in Gerontology from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond in 2007, as well as a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1982.

Afternoon Keynote

Becky Stoll, LCSW, is responsible for the overall operation of Centerstone’s Crisis and Disaster Management services in Nashville, TN and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of behavioral health experience. She is a recognized leader in the areas of crisis services, disaster mental health, and suicide prevention. She is a member of the National Action Alliance’s “Zero Suicides in Healthcare” Advisory Group as well as serving as a faculty and mentor. Ms. Stoll is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and a Diplomat of the American Association of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Ms. Stoll received a Master’s in the Science of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and a BS in Psychology from Tennessee State University in Nashville.

Zero Suicide Panel

Sue Jungen, CADC, ICS, is the Co-Chair Zero Suicide Initiative in the Fox Valley as well as a Regional Leader of the Zero Suicide Initiative, and a member of the Zero Suicide Academy Faculty (2015, 2016). Ms. Jungen is a founding member, previous Co-Chair, and current board member of the Northeast Wisconsin Mental Health Connection. She serves as Co-Chair of the Fox Valley Substance Abuse Initiative. Ms. Jungen is also a certified instructor for Youth Mental Health First Aid and QPR.

Hear Our Voice Panel

Martina Gollin-Graves, MSW, received a Master’s in Social Work from the University of WisconsinMilwaukee,and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alverno College. She is currently the President/CEO of Mental Health America of Wisconsin (MHA), a statewide agency providing mental health and suicide prevention education, advocacy and support for individuals, families, businesses and community organizations across the state of Wisconsin.
